3 weeks agoSharing our experienced during our 3rd times visit in a World Phalaenopsis/ Ulu Yam it’s such a big disappointment experienced indeed!
The moment we enter the gate, the staff at front gate question us if what we gonna do inside? 😮
That in my understanding it’s open for public to buy orchids and enjoy the ambiance at cafeteria area. But all of sudden rules and regulations has changed, visitors are allowed to roam around for just 30 minutes only. ( But, we have no choice we have to leave without half in hour. What a waste of time traveling from far way place suppose to enjoy the ambiance of the cafeteria. So we exit with unhappy heart! )
Hope the management will take notice on this matter so that not offend more visitors. Thank you. -

a month agoIt’s not a very big farm and you can finish in 30 min but it’s worth a visit as there are many beautiful orchids to see and buy. Prices are reasonable. The cafe is very nice in keeping a very natural decor and the food is good. Coffee too. The ambience is indeed lovely. Recommended

a month agoA must place for orchids lovers to visit, not that big a place but sufficient to satisfy your expectations. Enterance is free. Most of them are in door orchids that required air-conditioning and special care. I can see the orchids plants here are well taken care and has plenty of varieties for sale. Beautifully crafted blooms on display which are just lovely to admire. You will be awed by colourful display of orchids plants here as some of them were very different. [ Wheelchair accessible ]

7 months agoWent on a weekend and it was crowded. They give you passes with time limit so you can't spend much time inside. You need different passes for different activities (to visit the cafe you need the pass with longer time limit) and since it was packed we could not go to the cafe. It's also very hot inside so be prepared with water/hat/cap. It wasn't all too bad but it was not what we expected either.
